Your site's broken links, found and fixed from a single list, without relying on a cloud service.
What it does
It's a trimmed-down version of the well-known Broken Link Checker by WPMU DEV built around the local engine: the checking is done by your own server. It scans links in posts, comments and custom fields (ACF fields included), plus images and embedded videos, and by default re-checks every link every 72 hours.
Results appear in a list with tabs for broken links, warnings and redirects, which you can filter by response code (404, 410, 500, timeout, 301…) and by the status of the post the link sits in. From each row you can change the URL, remove the link or mark it as not broken.
What we removed
The original combines a local mode and a cloud mode, and the latter requires connecting your site to WPMU DEV's services. We have removed the cloud side (its pages, the connection to their dashboard, the webhooks and the promotions) and the plugin has gone from 13 to 7.3 MB: lighter and focused on what you need.

How it works
- Activate the plugin and, in Link Checker → Settings, choose where to look for links (Look For Links In) and which ones to check (Which Links To Check).
- Checks run on their own via WP-Cron; in Check Links Now you see the list and filter it by Broken, Warnings or Redirects and by response code.
- For each link, choose Edit URL, Unlink, Not broken, Dismiss or Recheck.
Requirements
- WordPress 5.2 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
- WP-Cron enabled for the scheduled checks.
- Licence: GPL v2 or later.
- Based on Broken Link Checker by WPMU DEV (GPL).
