What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the project type, your message and the language of the page you write from. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal.
Legal basis: your consent when you submit the form and, when you ask us about a project, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Browsing, cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies. To count visits we use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot identify you or follow you from one day to the next or across websites: the data is anonymous and aggregated.
Like any web server, our hosting provider logs technical data for each visit (such as IP address and browser) for a limited time, to keep the website running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and protected (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who processes your data on our behalf
We do not sell or share your data. To run the website we use these providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting and contact form processing.
- Resend: delivery of contact form messages by email, from servers in the European Union (Ireland).
- Google (Google Workspace): the mailbox where we receive and answer your message.
Some of these providers are US companies and may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We would only disclose your data to other third parties if required by law or by a court order.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If we then work together, we keep them for the duration of the business relationship and for the periods required by law. Otherwise, we delete them once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent. Just write to hola@kokoaweb.com.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
The website always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the services where messages are stored is restricted and protected. If we detected a security breach affecting personal data, we would notify the AEPD within 72 hours and, if it posed a high risk to you, we would also tell you directly.
Other information
- We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data.
- We do not receive personal data from third parties: we only process the data you give us.
- Applicable law: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
