Kokoa Tag Importer

Your tag list, from a document or spreadsheet into WordPress in a single step.

What it does

It adds a page under Herramientas (Tools) with a text box. Paste your list of tags, one per line, press the button and the plugin creates them all in WordPress. Blank lines are ignored.

If a tag already exists, it's skipped without an error. When it finishes you get a summary: how many were added, how many were already there and, if any failed, which ones.

Why in bulk

Creating tags one by one under Posts → Tags is slow when your vocabulary is already defined, for example when launching a new blog or reorganising an existing one. With the list prepared outside WordPress, you load it in one go and the names end up exactly as agreed. It's also the natural first step for tools that choose from existing tags, such as Kokoa Tag Suggester.

How it works

  1. Open Herramientas → Kokoa - Importar Tags (Tools → Import Tags).
  2. Paste the tags into the box, one per line, and click Importar tags (Import tags).
  3. Check the summary: tags added, those that already existed (skipped) and any errors.

  • A WordPress administrator account.
