Kokoa Tag Suggester ✨ AI

Consistent tags across the whole blog: the AI chooses from the ones you have and never invents new ones.

What it does

It adds a sidebar panel to the post editor, Sugerir etiquetas (IA) (Suggest tags (AI)). Press the button and Google Gemini reads the post's title and content and picks the best fits from the tags that already exist on your blog. The suggestions come pre-ticked: untick any you're not sure about and apply the rest.

For the back catalogue there's a bulk mode, which the plugin calls 'nuclear mode': it works through published posts with no tags, or with fewer than your chosen maximum, and tags them in batches, with a progress bar and a log entry for every post. In this mode tags are saved straight away and added to the ones each post already had, without removing any.

Why it never invents tags

When every author tags their own way, a blog fills up with near-identical variants and tag archives holding a single post. Here the AI can't create tags: everything it returns is checked against your list and anything that doesn't exist is dropped. Tagging stays within your own vocabulary, and if a tag is missing, you create it yourself.

How it works

  1. Save your Gemini key and the maximum number of tags per post under Ajustes → Kokoa - Tag Suggester (Settings → Kokoa - Tag Suggester).
  2. In the editor, click Sugerir etiquetas (Suggest tags), review the checkboxes and click Aplicar selección (Apply selection).
  3. For the whole blog, go to Herramientas → Kokoa - Asignar Tags (IA) (Tools → Assign Tags (AI)), choose which posts to process and click Iniciar modo nuclear (Start nuclear mode); the process can be paused and resumed without repeating posts.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
  • A Google Gemini API key, set under Ajustes → Kokoa - Tag Suggester (Settings → Kokoa - Tag Suggester).
  • Tags already created on the blog, which the plugin chooses from.
  • Licensed under GPL v2 or later.
